Meet Clarissa Trujillo
Clarissa Trujillo, junior at Greenfield High School, was awarded a $2,000 Girls Inc. Lucile Miller Wright Scholarship.

Clarissa has been part of Girls Inc. since middle school and now serves as a Girls Inc. Intern. Throughout her journey, she has embraced every opportunity to grow, learn, and prepare for her future. Her experience reflects how Girls Inc. programs empower girls with real‑world skills, confidence, and a strong sense of self. Clarissa shares the following about her experience. “The ECHO program has even taught me professionalism and preparation for the workplace. The resume I created during a session has already been successfully used a few times! Without this program, I would not have been prepared with that ability or even know where to begin. I also learned about proper attire for an interview and practiced answers to questions that may be asked. Owning this knowledge eased my nerves going into my first interview; I felt prepared with answers and looked into the eyes of the interviewer.
As an intern, I am constantly learning and improving multiple aspects of my life. Without Girls Inc. I would not have had the life experience to prepare properly for my future and become a well-rounded individual. I have discovered and found myself in so many ways and will always be Strong, Smart and Bold.”
